This is an acrylic painting that shows The Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire. It is depicted amid evergreen trees and shrubs with a blue sky in the background.

I'm David Straughan, a resident of New Hampshire. In 1999 I started painting artwork, making cards and Christmas ornaments for family and friends. More recently I been making canvas paintings. Realism is my style of choice in painting, though I do alter reality a bit by adding or subtracting elements such as lampposts or trees in order to make the a painting more pleasing.
